In this confusing and uncertain time, we want you to know that our efforts are focused on serving our Kinstone community. Most of our counseling partners are providing remote services, so please use this resource as needed.

Senior-Only Shopping Hours

Several grocery stores and other businesses have established special hours when only senior citizens and at-risk customers can shop. Stores mentioned in this article include Aldi, Costco, Dollar General, Fresh Market, Home Depot, Kroger, Lidl, Publix, Target, Trader Joe’s, Walgreens, Walmart, and Whole Foods.

Instacart

Order grocery deliveries to your door, with the option of “drop off at door.” Grocery stores participating include Publix, Kroger, Aldi, Sprouts, Petco and Costco. There is a 5% service fee (minimum $2). Fee does not include tip.

Counseling

We have several partnerships with local counseling providers, and Kinstone will pay for up to four visits a year, with just a $10 co-pay. You have the freedom to choose the counselor that fits your needs. Just tell the counseling office that you are a Kinstone resident, and they will bill us without revealing your identity. We are here for you, your best self and your privacy. Most of our counseling partners are providing remote services.

Crayola Coloring Pages

Head on over to Crayola to print out some coloring sheets. Did you know coloring is considered therapeutic? How fun!

Georgia Aquarium

Check on your favorite animals at the Georgia Aquarium. They have several webcams (check out the Ocean Voyager exhibit and the African Penguins), so you can view the sea creatures having fun in their home!

The Center for Puppetry Arts

Get your laughs and creative juices going! The Center for Puppetry Arts has scheduled programs to stream right in your own home using Zoom or Facebook.
